🌱 I was born and raised in a small town in Colombia’s Eje Cafetero region. Surprisingly, my earliest memories aren’t of coffee, but of sugarcane farms.
🪐 After high school, I moved to Medellín and earned a bachelor’s degree in Astronomy. Those years were all about math, physics, and English, and being at a public university inspired me to understand society from different perspectives.
✈️When I graduated, I had no money and no concrete plans, just a deep desire to explore other cultures and ways of life. I taught myself some French, bought a ticket, and traveled to France to volunteer on farms, in hostels, and homes in exchange for food and accommodation. That was when I started teaching Spanish and realized how much I love languages.
📍After backpacking for almost a year, I returned to Colombia. Since then, I’ve continued teaching Spanish, learning languages, and traveling whenever I can.
❤️ What I love most is bringing different fields of knowledge into my teaching, showing students how everything connects, and inspiring them to discover not just a new language, but a whole new world, while at the same time building my students’ confidence to speak and express their ideas.
